Lore:

Proteca Major is the home system of the Protec Conglomerate, the largest generic supplies manufacturer under the Sol Confederacy. Despite being situated outside of the Sol system, it is in an area considered to be an 'extension' of the Sol system, and was acquired by the Sol Confederacy in 2466, and annexed by the Protec Conglomerate in 2522 after over 50 years of terraforming to a point of self-sustainment.
